About Villa Paradela

A delightful farmer's cottage, lovingly converted, and only a short drive from the beach

This lovely, converted farmer's cottage is situated just outside the old fishing village of Apuila which is flanked by lush green pine forests. Set in quiet location, it is within easy reach of sandy beaches and there is a grocery store and restaurant within walking distance.

Inside is particularly comfortable, well equipped and decorated in a traditional style.

The outside area is delightful with a huge alfresco dining area, terrace, lawns and a swimming pool which has a clever, raised cover to enable guests to use the pool whatever the weather! Guests also have the use of a picnic area in the woods within a 3 minute walk of the villa. The rural yet convenient location of the area, with its agricultural fields, olive groves, vineyards (where you will be able to taste the famous Vinho Verde!) and its proximity to the roman delights of Barcelos, makes it an excellent place for a perfectly relaxing and cultural holiday in the Minho region.

Navigating the city involves hills and uneven surfaces, which might pose difficulties for individuals with limited mobility or those pushing strollers. We recommend you wear comfortable footwear when exploring the city.”

Additional costs & information

  • Pool Heating £210 per week. Minimum charge 1 week. Please note that we cannot guarantee the pool temperature. In general, pool heaters are installed and managed according to the size of the pool and health and safety guidelines but weather conditions, such as colder nights, rain and strong winds can affect the normally achievable temperature.
  • 7 night minimum stay in July & August. 5 nights at other times.
  • Booking deposit 30% of the villa rental or £250, whichever is the greater amount.  Balance due 8 weeks before departure.
