We are absolutely thrilled to be offering this sensational property on the Silver Coast in Portugal which has been designed to cater for the entire family, including wheelchair users, ensuring a comfortable stay for all. The owner has designed the house with so much attention to detail and consideration, especally for those with young children, older relatives and those who are differently abled, with discreet adaptations throughout.
Inside, there are generous living areas with huge windows, taking full advantage of the spectacular position. There are five, spacious bedrooms, one of which is completely adapted with a hoist and automatic profiling bed and ensuite, accessible bathroom with wheel-in shower, handrails, shower seat, height adjustable basin, self-propelled shower wheelchair and toilet comode with tilting head rest support for those with upper body stability issues.
There are wide doorways throughout and all floors and the garden are accessible. You could be forgiven for not noticing the amazing adaptations as the owner has created a stylish space with a sense of luxury throughout the entire house.
Outside, there is a splendid garden with crazy golf, a children's play area and a fenced, infinity swimming pool with cascading water and hoist if required. There are panoramic views of the beautiful coastline and multiple areas to relax and unwind while the children play, including the barbecue area with alfresco dining furniture for 15 people and sun shade.
Foz do Arelho beach is directly in front of the property and is a breathtaking expanse of sand and sparkling water where the Obidos lagoon meets the Atlantic ocean. This accessible beach is alive with water sports like kite surfing, surfing and sailing and there are numerous beachside restaurants and cafes. Obidos lagoon has calm waters, perfect for families with young children.
We can arrange additional care, catering and adapted vehicles by request and at additional cost. We can also suggest accessible restaurants nearby. Just ask us for more details.
Please note, if the special equipment for those who are differently abled is not required, it can be stored away accordingly.
