About Villa Matheus

Villa Matheus is a modern and spacious villa in a great position, just 800m from Ancão beach. With five ensuite bedrooms, this is a great choice for larger groups or families wanting to be close to the amenities in both Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo.

The property has been designed with outdoor living in mind with a calming waterfall water feature, large garden, Jacuzzi and swimming pool which can be heated. There are plenty of sun loungers to relax and outdoor furniture under a shaded pergola to escape the hot sun.  There is also an outdoor kitchen, barbecue and alfresco dining furniture for 10 under another shaded pergola. The garden is surrounded by tropical plants and shrubs making this a truly delightful space to relax.

Inside is stylish and modern with comfortable living areas and bright rooms which transform in to cosy spaces in the evening with an attractive fireplace to set the scene and L shaped sofas (new since photographed). The bedrooms are good sizes and each has its own colour scheme.

The beach is within walking distance and there are a couple of good restaurants not too far away. Quinta Shopping is just 4km away with superb restaurants and a supermarket.

The villa enjoys use of the communal tennis court nearby (racquets/balls are not provided).

NB Please note that the staircase has some open railings so extra care should be taken with young children.

Prices are in £'s sterling per week. If your holiday dates cross two seasons please ask us for a quote.

Additional costs & information

  • Tourist Tax €2 per person, per night for all guests aged 16 and over for a maximum of 5 nights for stays between April - October. €1 per guest per night between Nov - Mar. This will be charged at parity to cover processing fees.
  • Pool Heating £511 per week.  Available between April and October.  Minimum charge 1 week.  
  • Pool Fence £150 per booking
  • Additional Cot £30 each per booking
  • Additional Highchair £30 each per booking
  • Pool Towels £5 each per booking
  • Pool Fence £150 per booking
  • Although the villa has a flexible arrival day we cannot leave too many empty days between bookings. Please always check with us to make sure the dates you require are acceptable.
  • Booking deposit 30% of the villa rental or £250, whichever is the greater amount. Balance due 8 weeks before departure
  • Please note that we cannot guarantee the pool temperature. In general, pool heaters are installed and managed according to the size of the pool and health and safety guidelines but weather conditions, such as colder nights, rain and strong winds can affect the normally achievable temperature.
