About Vella

Vella is in a sought after position with sensational views of the Balearic Sea where guests can experience magical sunsets.  Just 250m from the sea and walking distance to some of the most secluded beaches, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

There are palm fringed lawns and wide terraces for soaking up the sunshine or relaxing in the shade, and a wooden deck which creates the perfect barbecue area with a further alfresco dining area, seating 10, which is great for entertaining.

Inside, the modern interiors of white walls and polished concrete floors are softened by the plush furnishings, bright pops of colour and the magnificent pool and sea views. A cosy lounge is open plan to a pristine kitchen, with breakfast bar seating three, and garden views.

The combination of sleek neutral walls and colourful furnishings and artworks continues throughout each of the six bedrooms. The four in the main house all have contemporary en-suite bathrooms. A further two double guest rooms can be found in the guest house with a shared bathroom.

It is the view across the sunny terrace from the freestanding bathtub in the master bedroom on the upper floor that really captures the magic of this property. From here, you can gaze across the sparkling Balearic sea to the island of Es Vedra as you bathe.

Things we love…

"It goes without saying that the nightlife here is world renowned but there is so much more to this beautiful island than the clubs and DJ’s it has become famous for. We highly recommend a boat trip to the pretty and peaceful Formontera beach. With turquoise waters and soft, white sand, it is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the whole of Spain."

"Parking can be tricky when visiting the main towns. It is often easier to find a car park or parking space just outside the town and wander in on foot. Restaurants can be pricey too but it is well worth exploring eateries and bars away from the main streets which can be less expensive and more authentic."

Additional costs & information

  • Tourist tax may be applicable, please check at time of enquiry. The Balearic government require a tourist tax, payable with the final balance. For travellers over the age of 16yrs the Balearic Tourist Tax is €2.20 per person per night for the first 7 nights.  €1.10 per person per night thereafter. This is charged at parity to allow for fluctuation rates and administration costs and will be applied to your booking automatically.
  • Prices may fluctuate and will be confirmed upon booking
  • Although the villa has a flexible arrival day we cannot leave too many empty days between bookings. Please always check with us to make sure the dates you require are acceptable
  • Booking deposit 50% of the villa rental. Balance due 8 weeks before departure.
