About The Red House

The Red House is a gorgeous, 4 bedroom property with amazing sea views in the village of Charneca do Guincho.  It is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and amenities making this an ideal choice for those who like to wander out in the evenings but still want to experience a private and quiet location.  We recommend a car to visit the amazing places nearby and for supermarket shops.  Guincho beach, with its white sands, untouched sand dunes and rocky landscape is a 20 minute walk from the villa via a small path and can be viewed from the garden.

The property is contemporary in design and the split level living area is spacious and minimalistic with comfy sofas and a relaxed vibe.  The living room opens out onto the swimming pool and a decked terrace with stunning views of the ocean and Sintra Cascais Natural Park.  The bedrooms are simple and roomy and the bathrooms are modern with high-quality fixtures and fittings.

This is a perfect spot to take in breathtaking views whilst being close to Cascais, Sintra and Lisbon.

"A visit to the city is a must but we suggest using public transport for day trips rather than taking a car as parking is tricky. There are trams that take you round the city and we can also arrange transfers and tours from your accommodation and back again for the ultimate stress-free day out."

Prices are in £'s sterling per week. If your holiday dates cross two seasons please ask us for a quote.

Additional costs & information

  • Pool Heating £154 per week.  Minimum charge 1 week
  • Prices will be confirmed at time of booking
  • Booking deposit 30% of the villa rental or £250, whichever is the greater amount. Balance due 8 weeks before departure.
  • Please note that we cannot guarantee the pool temperature. In general, pool heaters are installed and managed according to the size of the pool and health and safety guidelines but weather conditions, such as colder nights, rain and strong winds can affect the normally achievable temperature.
  • Tourist Taxes may be applied to the booking.  Sintra - €2 per person (aged 13+ years) per night up to a max of 3 nights.  Cascais €4 per person (aged 13+ years) per night up to a max of 7 nights.
