Villa Luz is a 5 bedroom villa with magnificent gardens, a private pool, which can be heated, and a tennis court. Nestled in the hillside above Praia da Luz, it is set in immense grounds and is close to all amenities whilst enjoying peace and quiet.
The interior is not modern but has plenty of charm. The spacious living room is comfortably furnished with plenty of sofas and armchairs, a lovely, open fireplace and french windows opening out onto a pretty, covered terrace, perfect for alfresco dining. The formal dining room leads from the living room and seats up to 12 people. The kitchen is well equipped with cheerful, retro tiles. There is also a useful utility room with a washing machine an additional fridge/freezer. There are 3 bedrooms on this level.
A sweeping staircase takes you from the entrance hall to the first floor where there are additional bedrooms, each with a balcony and lovely views of the village and the sea beyond.
Outside, spacious terraces and sweeping lawns lead down to the large swimming pool surrounded by vibrant, green foliage and a small path then leads to the tennis court.
The housekeeper and gardener are reassuringly close by, in a small cottage within the grounds, and are very respectful of the privacy of guests staying at the house.
Please note, the base of the tennis court has a green carpet surface with white sand on top to protect it. The photographs may appear patchy and unkempt to the untrained eye. Please note that while the court currently has some areas that require improvement, it remains a great option for recreational play. Maintenance plans are in place, although the exact date is yet to be confirmed. Feel free to ask us for more details upon enquiry.
