About Gemima

Gemima is a charming 3 bedroom house within walking distance of all that Praia da Luz has to offer. 

The house sits in a pretty garden with bright bougainvillea and mature trees, and plants.  The pool is the main focus around which there are lots of areas to relax and enjoy the setting including ample terraces, roof terrace and lawned area.

Inside, the house is on one level and is open plan and comfortably furnished.  It is simple but undeniably cute.  There are 3 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms making this a perfect choice for families or groups of friends.  One of the rooms is particularly welcoming with arched windows overlooking the pool and coordinated blue & white curtains and bedspread.

Gemima is opposite Cara, making this an ideal solution for 2 families wanting to holiday together with their own private space.

"Most of the villas do not require a hire car and the beaches are fairly shallow and therefore good for families. Visitors can purchase a day pass for Luz Bay Club Hotel which has indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and squash courts, Turkish baths and a gym."

"Taxi transfers from the airport are quite expensive but many of our properties are within walking distance of amenities making this a relaxed holiday destination for those who prefer not to drive."

  • Pool Heating £245 per week
  • Minimum pool heating charge 1 week
  • Cot £40 per week
  • Highchair £25 per week
  • Although the villa has a flexible arrival day we cannot leave too many empty days between bookings. Please always check with us to make sure the dates you require are acceptable.
  • Booking deposit 30% of the villa rental or £250, whichever is the greater amount.  Balance due 8 weeks before departure.
  • Please note that we cannot guarantee the pool temperature. In general, pool heaters are installed and managed according to the size of the pool and health and safety guidelines but weather conditions, such as colder nights, rain and strong winds can affect the normally achievable temperature.
